Players

2 to 9 players can play Tournament Pilatch per deck.

Deck Build

42 cards. Ranks 1-10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace in each of the three suits. No wild cards.

Beginning a Hand

Each player starts with a bet card up.

Shuffle the deck. Deal each player a hand of 3 cards. Have a round of betting.

Then deal community cards.

Community Cards

The community cards are dealt out in three rounds:

Deal 2 cards face-down, then 2 cards face-up. Have a round of betting.
Deal 1 card face-down, then 1 card face-up. Have another round of betting.
Deal 1 card face-down, then 1 card face-up. Have a final round of betting.

Winning

Best 5-cards hand wins. Your 3 cards in hand will be combined with either 4 face-up, or 4 face-down community cards. You can use only 5 of those 7. See the rules on winning.
